Referrals
The firm is full service in the sense that it is connected
to other responsible practitioners that handle a variety of
other legal matters, such as criminal law, family law, and
intellectual property. If our office cannot handle your legal
matter, we will refer you to a good lawyer that can.
The term “referrals” also sometimes means
referrals from lawyers seeking to refer a case to our firm
in exchange for an interest in the fees generated in that
case. The firm does not generally accept such cases, as
it is not viewed as beneficial to the client. However, the
firm does actively team up with other lawyers in representation
of a given client. We believe collaborative representation
can be quite beneficial to the client, such as when the
client has a close, trusting relationship with one lawyer
but also needs the expertise of another attorney. In that
case, the representation can be divided so that the client
both retains the trust of its original counsel and gains
the legal expertise needed to pursue the matter successfully. |
